The iconic band will play the O2 Arena for two nights next month.

In this year's 'worst kept secret' (The Stone Roses reunion getting 2011's crown) The Rolling Stones have confirmed fans will get the chance to see them live this year!

The band - who are celebrating 50 years together - will play the O2 Arena on November 25 and 29 2012.

Last week guitarist Keith Richards let slip that the band would be playing live, saying, "we've got some shows in London, I believe, and in New York," in an interview with Q.

Tickets for the London shows go on-sale on October 19 at 9am - and will be available via the Radio X Ticket Shop.

Last week the band also unveiled new track 'Doom and Gloom' - the product of their first time in the studio together in seven years - which features on their upcoming hits compilation 'Grrr'.
